Learn Photography in Savannah

Photography is becoming such a huge hobby/past-time in America. It seems that everyone and their mother is going out to Best Buy/Amazon.com (yes, I realize you cannot go to Amazon.com) and picking up a DSLR. This is great! As a professional photographer in Savannah Georgia, I can say that photography has changed my life in ways I could have never imagined…seriously! I am excited that you have decided to learn more about photography.

I offer classes and one on one teaching for all levels of photography, however, I am really interested in working with beginners and ‘amateur’ photographers. Every class is designed to what YOU need. Before you classes I will have you fill out a questionnaire that will allow you to let me know what you don’t know, what you would like to know, and what you would like to get out of our teaching sessions.

Some of the subjects we can cover include:

Camera Basics

How to get the most out of your DSLR. This is especially useful for someone who just got their first DSLR and needs to know what all the buttons do, how to properly change you lens, etc, etc…

Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO

Learn how these three things work with each other to ensure you are getting the exposure you need and want. Quit shooting on Auto or ‘P’ mode and learn more to shoot like the Pros do.

HDR Photography

I am well known for my HDR work. Whether you are looking to learn the basics of HDR Photography or want to work with a seasoned pro to fine-tune your images, I will put together a course to bring your HDR photography to the next level. A laptop loaded with a minimum of Photomatix and/or HDR Efex Pro is required for this class. Photoshop is great, but not required.

All of my Photography classes are either one-on-one teaching or in groups of up to three. I want to ensure that I can give you exactly what you are looking for.
